SEPP is also one of the main partners of the Industry 4.0 online learning platform initiated by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) through the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). It enables German and European companies to access the Chinese procurement market and purchase goods for mechanical manufacturing, metal casting and plastic injection molding. Overall, SEPP helps to build partnerships with new suppliers in Western and Central China in order to improve procurement efficiency. In 2020, SEPP released the purchasing demands of RMB 51.2 billion, resulting in a transaction of RMB 10.7 billion.
